rsync to another system, or use the built-in backup to ftp system.

Get another server or backup space in another DC.

I strongly suggest placing it in a different DC than the original so that if something were to happen to that DC as a whole (think power outage/network failure) you would still have access to the backups.

It does no good to put them on a second drive in the same server if the DC itself is down.

I have a box setup at home which I use for backups. Thank goodness for broadband is all I can say.

Right now I only have a small number of sites to deal with (less than 100)....but as I get more sites/servers I will be looking at a backup solution such as offered by gnax.net.

GNAX is what I am using and could not be happier with it. I have two servers backing up to it nightly and it has worked flawlessly.
