If you was looking to host somewhere and found a place that had no content restrictions except no illegal stuff, meaning adult sites allowed. Would you host your site there?

Well, what other content would be restricted if it wasnt illegal?

MP3 - illegal
Warez - illegal
Hack - illegal

I mean, what type of content are you talking about?

...although most hosts just won't allow MP3s at all, avoiding big headaches.

I don't have any moral issues having a site reside on a server that also serves adult sites; though I would be concerned with server over loads and heavy traffic created by the flesh merchants ;)

We don't host porn sites, or illegal content. Of course we don't host the illegal content because it's illegal. Although there is a lot of legal pornography, we still don't host it for the following reasons:

1. We would be charged more for liability insurance.
2. Porn for some reason just attract unwanted security problems that require more system administration.
3. Because the Internet is multijurisdictional by nature, it raises a lot of issues. Some types of porn are illegal in some areas and shouldn't be served there.

We have no problem hosting "adult" sites. But we find too often that people don't just mean "content only suitable for an adult", they mean "pornography".

We host sites with art and prose that is considered not suitable for minors with no problems. This is what we consider "adult" content.

Anyway, if you don't have any adult content, why would you not host with someone that doesn't allow it? Do you think that they are being close minded?
