Hello there!

What do you think about .it domains, so to say italian domains. They could be used for quite some stuff like e.g.

buy.it
sell.it
find.it

and so on. What do you think of the value of such a domain? Would one find someone to buy such a domain or are they rather unpopular over in the US?

Also I wanna mention I am not talking about a top keyword like buy, but rather about keywords like e.g. achieve.it and so on (so to say 2nd choice keywords).

best regards

i dont see it as valuable because people don't type in .it in general. Maybe in italy, but I would assume they would use italian keywords?

I don't think it would be a brilliant idea because the best ones are mostly taken, and the other ones aren't good enough.
You have to consider the fact that italians are familiar with that extension, few others from around the world are.
Also, it's not as cheap as .com ones if you want to buy a few.
And there are quite a few limitations (ie: just one per private person) and some burocracy ( I had to send a fax 8 times before they would accept my ridiculously useless liability declaration and that's because they could not read my signature properly and they weren't telling me!Only after the 6th fax they informed me why they weren't accepting my application!)
Italians are usually after .coms rather than .its and that of course is also because in italy you don't say "it".
That's my opinion.
