View Full Version : Led Zepplin - Satanic Messages?
Man this is so evil... Cult chants and 'Now this is my sweet satan' and 'And suffer sad satan' and '666' Heres a reversed copy of a lisenced mp3 file of it.
http://albinoblacksheep.com/flash/stairway.php
Listen from 3:20 to 3:50 to hear the messages, the rest is a cult chant of some kind...scary...
Ive done this myself with soundrecorder, scary.
PCplayground 04-24-2004, 12:55 AM This is a bunch of very old non-sense that many classic rock bands have been accused of.
Since your link is dead, visitors may wish to visit:
http://www2.memlane.com/jmilner/stairwaybackwards.htm
However, that link is pretty persuasive in making it sound satanic (the link has it sounding a lot clearer than my record does for sure).
But it really does sound like 'heres to my sweet satan' doesnt it? You should try using a wav version of it and reversing it with sound recorder (Start > Programs > Accessories > Entertainment > Sound Recorder)
Patrick 04-24-2004, 01:02 AM Sounds like a joke to me.
westcan 04-24-2004, 01:10 AM Oh no!!!111!11!

Never mind.
I reversed the mp3, and sure enough... I'll be damned.
silhouette 04-24-2004, 03:09 AM i was told many years back!!...
find the flipping of the song sounds quite interesting
got any more examples??
The Dude 04-24-2004, 03:15 AM Well, what comes out in reverse is a natural play on words,
No one can purposely say anything mean or evil in reverse,it is just common kwowledge that certain things when played backwards sounds like other things............
Interesting though
The Dude :)
They actually did do it on purpose apparently saying words from a book that they knew backward turned out like that.

(S Club 7)
http://darryn-reeds.tripod.com/S-Club-7-secrets.html
SoftWareRevue 04-24-2004, 01:30 PM AND, if you play it backwards at the right speed, you can clearly hear, "Visit WHT. Visit WHT. Double you Double you Double you dot Web Hosting Talk dot com."
Really freaked me out!
theqase 04-24-2004, 09:54 PM Want more examples?
www.undergroundnoize.com/backmasking.html
also, one not mentioned on that site is 'ozzy osbourne - flying high again' i *think* around 2:50 (in forward) in the song... he says "Set me free" you may just have to listen to the whole thing backwards to find it..
have fun
theqase 04-24-2004, 09:57 PM another one ( not sure if its listed in undergroundnoise...) is 'pink floyd - empty spaces' right at the beginning where it sounds like people talking... it says something like 'congratulations, you have found the secret message, send your response to .... "
pretty cool really
