I received your offer, but due to the fact that's too far from the real value of igm.net, but thanks anyway for offering.

My offer is very reasonable and I probably would have increased it some. Sounds like you are expecting too much and worse, chastising those who do make good offers for your 'million dollar' domain. My offer is retracted - its a waste of time to attempt to negotiate with people who simply have no idea what they are doing.

I have to agree with the others sir. For a guy who said in his original post >> "all offers accepted" << you are being a little tough on the people who are making offers. I don't want to go into the value of any given domain in your sales thread, but $200+ offers for a 3 letter .net are certainly not something to disregard.

Most people here are smart...AND nice, if you give them a chance. Unfortunately you are just scaring away your potential buyers. It is a good name sir, and I wish you the best of luck with it.

i'd be fascinated to hear how 'you searched for the value of the domain correctly'.
i bet you paid $40 bucks for an appraisal, didn't you? haha.
The fact that you think this domain is worth 2 grand is just ridiculous. There's no call to be a jerk to everyone sends you an offer.
Next time say that you're accepting unreasonable offers only, so people know not to bid on it.

domainbro

Guys, if you're not interested in buying, please keep your mouth for yourself. i know it's real value.

keep your words for yourself please.

i'm sorry, you lost the right to say that when you mocked everyone's offers.

domainbro

I hate when someone tries to act like smart--sorry
but you can get a domain quote from any domains professionals then say if i am wrong, i'll pay it's 1.5k $ return . deal?

jroy

i dont think any 3 letter .net is worth that much unless it was a dictionary work or an abbreviation of something, in which case it would be worth more than that

domainbro
04-25-2004, 08:28 PM
jroy --

igm.net has 11 abbrev.

jroy
04-25-2004, 08:30 PM
i ment like for large businesses

what are the abbreviations?

domainbro

just do a simple search in google.

for " igm "

Well, now that you've made people angry at two different forums, and had offers/bids retracted, what is the status? The current high bid? I might be interested depending on the situation.

I am willing to take you up on your offer.

If I get the owner of a VERY popular domain magazine to give their appraisal of that domain, and they say you are wrong, then you will pay me $1.5K yes?

If you wish to discuss this more in detail & private, I do not mind a PM. I will gladly post the results in public if you wish me to.

domainbro
04-26-2004, 12:28 AM
I don't make them angry. but

there's gxq.net and there's also igm.net, and the diff is already clear.

if they went to do a simple search on google and find out, but..nobody did.

no PMs please, just request it and paste the results here..

and I'm pretty sure about its value, no problems..

Will you take $250 right now? I can send cash this minute!

domainbro
04-26-2004, 01:25 AM
not, until PCplayground gets appraisal of the domain name. (as he said).

and If the domain name isn't worth 1,5K usd, I promise that i'll close this offer and say sorry to you all.

sellinbiz
04-26-2004, 01:27 AM
Close the offer by selling it or by withdrawing the offer to sell?

Gen-T
04-26-2004, 01:45 AM
So now we have to wait for him to get an appraisal on your name?

domainbro, it's your name and your sale, so you are entitled to do whatever you want, but I have my finger on the button at paypal to send you cash, and all you need to do is say the word. I'm going to bed soon though, so please tell me something. :)

domainbro

Guys, I am really care about knowing the value you'll get from an appraisal. because, everyone now thinking I just dun know anything, and drop in the thread asking for a crazy value..

It's my name, and my sale, but you guys said , or meant to say that I'm trying to give it more than it deserves, and just saying words which are not based on knowledge and real market prices.

so all i am asking you. check , get appraisal from a domain professional and let me know..

Gen-T
I'll be glad to sell it to you, but the offer is open until thursday. and if no one place higher bid, it'll be urs.

thanks

Studio-51

wtf. guess my 250 is not as good, huh. I get played out as a fool for offering such a low price, then you turn around and sell for that same amount...

Sell your name and then go find another side job, you are making no friends in this business.

domainbro

You don't tell me what do i do, awc. please keep a side..

DomainBro,

I thought I was getting an appraisal as a bet. And if they gave a price lower than yours, then I would get the $1.5K. It seems like you have changed this?

I'm sorry, but I am not going to bug professionals only to help you make a sale.

I would have been nice to have a little more lead time or had the sale more organized. You just said it wouldn't be sold until Thursday. Can you let us know the buyers id or final price?

domainbro

Well, it's still open for sale after I received this email,

now, may anybody who says that the domain isn't worth 1.5k face this proven email :

Now, just because someone who doesn't know anything (sorry) in domain value starting to offend in my threads, and all other coming replies just follow his way-- it's not cool way to win my business.

$250 is no longer accepted offer..

Dude, you already said sold to $250. Unless you want to get sued by whoever you said SOLD to, it would be advisable to follow thru on your commitment.

And just one last piece of advice before I unsubscribe this crazy thread... As someone who has sold at least 100 3 letter .net domains in the past few years, 8K for igm.net is only wishful pricing. It is simply not that great of a domain. Rarely does one of these domains go over 1K. At one of the drop catchers recently, which is renown for crazy high bids, the domain TVS.NET sold for just a little over 5K - yes that's TVS.NET as in TV's which is a very high profile letter combination and a very high potential domain.

So, if you really want to sell your domain, I advise rethinking your sales strategy. Wait, what am I saying.... you already sold it for $250. Congrats to buyer.

That was me, and I've been waiting to send money for 2 days, after he said he needed to borrow his friend's paypal account to accept my payment. He said he was just waiting for the friend to come online. I've written back about 5 times without a reply.

Now, after it was "SOLD" to me, he's back saying it's for sale again, and worth 8,000.

This is not good business.

domainbro, what's the deal? Are you cancelling our agreement?

domainbro
04-28-2004, 11:16 PM
I'm not cancelling, I just wanted to prove to all buyers the real listing price for igm.net,

I'm not cancelling our agreement. I sent to you twice ! and received no answer. :(

So, please check your e-mail

anyway, It's thursday already here NOW!..
and I got a few $250 offers. but i'd really like to deal with you if it's possible for you.

thanx
