I have a parked domain at godaddy.com and I want to use it as the name server domain. Does anyone know how to do this at godaddy?
Change mydomain.net to
ns.mydomain.net and ns2.mydomain.net

I have changed name servers before to direct a domain to a web site, but I have never used one as a name server.

You want to register nameservers within godaddy.

To do so:
1) Login (Duh! :) )
2) Click 'manage domains'
3) Click on the domain you want to add it to
4) Click the + next to the "Domain Host Summary"
5) Click "Click here to see details or to modify."
6) Add them in, one at a time, associating the ns1 with an IP address and the NS2 with an IP address
7) Wait. They take time to 'propegate out'.

Yeah, it probably woulda been easier to just paste that. Too lazy to go in search of it though :)

I just happened to have posted that in another thread earlier, so it was readily available.:D
