When typing a URL in the browser (Internet Explorer) it coffers completes with a drop diown scolling bar. I used to have it so it wouldn't save or display this information, but since I re-formatted, I cannot figure out how I did it, can anyone help me?

From IE menu - Tools --> Internet Options --> Content -->

Auto Complete
unchk what you don't want cached

It's already unchecked ...

EDIT: Also, I have another problem in Outlook. I had it so I could view the Outlook shortcuts as a tree menu, any idea how I change that too?

Try clearing your cache in General Tab --> delete files and set history to 0

For Outlook goto view - unchk Outlook Bar and check folder view
