I've got a MySQL C API tutorial. Used to have a nice deal with a company that provided MySQL remote hosting to advertise on the site. They've pulled out of that market now. The page (not the site) gets about 2000 uniques per month. It's 3rd on a Google search for 'MySQL C API' and 1st for 'mysql c api tutorial'. Am running AdSense right now, but would like to replace it with something more revelant (either text advertising or an image). Anyone interested? There are also a few other similar lower traffic pages on my site.

I would be interested in placing a banner or a text link on your site. Do you have any prices in mind for advertising.

Hi rob,

What is the cost to replace your adsense with a banner of the same/similar size for www.linuxforums.org ?

Thanks,

Jason

EDIT:

btw, on your tutorial for MySQL C API, when you mention compiling with GCC and specify "-lmysqlclient", a lot of systems require that you also use lib zip and lib math, "-lz -lm". There is a tool that can be used to find the exact requirements on a per host basis called "mysql_config", and the output can be put directly into makefiles as well.
run the commands below to find out exactly what is used on a particular host:
mysql_config --libs
mysql_config --include

Feel free to add that to the tutorial if you want :)

I'm interested in a text or logo ad. Possibly a deal like you had setup before. Please email me. zach*pronetspace.com.

Thanks!

Impressive response :agree: Yep, I'm looking for someone to advertise on the site. What prices would people be willing to pay?
Thanks,
Rob.

If we said your adsense revenue + 5%, what would that be rounded to nearest $1?

Hmm, my adsense revenue hasn't been great for that site recently; the ads aren't overly relevant...

Also, I'm fairly new to this; would people prefer to have exclusitivity or cheaper ads rotated? I'm fairly open to whatever format ads people want (as long as they're not pop-ups or some similar horror).

i'll start of with $15/Month (via paypal) for an exclusive banner that replaces your google ads, but can i get some webstats for the site please?

Hmm, looks good, assuming no better offers it's yours. Will post stats tomorrow.

Also, does anyone know where would be a good place to sell advertising space on one of my other sites, an entertainment site where users can search for a song by entering a few words of the lyrics?
Thanks,
Rob.

Okay, stats at http://www.synnottsoftware.com/webalizer. Note that mysql.html and mysql.php are the same things; mysql.html is the one more linked to from outsite, but is made into mysql.php by mod_rewrite. There's also another site forwarding to this one; http://rsynnott.f2g.net/mysql.html;Google still lists this, and a lot of the Google searches go through it.
