I just bought the academic Photoshop CS set. (college is pricey enough thanks). I've seen all these great freesites with free photoshop/html templates.

I've driven myself to the point of being tempted to scream explatives trying to sort out on my own how to create a spiffy looking GUI page template. Sure I can create pretty pictures in photoshop, import to imageready, but would someone kindly point me to (free) online tutorials for how to operate:

slicing tools: setting jpg and png
creating html links to slices
making multistate buttons with JS in ImageReady
