People,
I just got my own box a few weeks ago and was going to buy ub2k software, but I can not find the site. Guess they went away. Does anybody know of a good bulliten board that does not use SQL??? The old site was ub2k.com, did it move? ;)

How come nobody ever responds to my posts? Feeling left out here.

Give people some time... :)

I have a list of some message boards but not with me at the moment but I will let you know if I find any links that does not require SQL.

Have a good one!

OK sorry. I remember when I worked for a host UBB eats up RAM and slows down everything when it gets hammered. What ever happened to UB2K? Anybody know?

Yep! ikonboard has a non-sql version too but I have never used it. Waiting for their final release. Other boards are UBB at Infopop.com, Discus at Discusware.com. But these are not suited for a large commnunity like WHT. You can use Discus (flatfile) for a medium sized community. But looks like nowadays Ikonboard has a large following and so I would go with it. If you need more then you can search at cgi.resourceindex.com or hotscripts.com

I've installed ikonboard for two different discussion forums, and it's great. It doesn't use a database back end.
