Is anyone else having trouble accessing VDI or Interserver? It appears my server is down. This is starting to be a weekly occurance. I am seriously considering moving to a new company, and I have only been with Interserverr for about 3 months. What a difference 3 months can make.

I too I could not access my server nor could I access VDI site.
This is getting ridiculous.

When your servers go down like this, do you guys get bind failure emails from your servers?
I seem to get one everyday from my interserver server, but on days where the entire VDI system goes down, I get dozens saying that the bind has been restarted after failing.
Is there a problem with my server? The server normally restarts ok, but this is getting annoying. If so, what can I do to my server to fix it so the bind doesn't fail every day?

i don't get it. Maybe im just understanding this differently, but.. how are you getting emails if your server is down ? servers can't email you if they are down..If you have a server with interserver, and your server goes down (connection issue--this is a vdi issue) then, how can it email you?
oh well

Looks like things are back up again on my end. It is very evident that VDI is still having problems with stability. I have lost customers over the last three months due to their frequent outages. Granted, Interserver offers great pricing for dedicated service, but it does me no good if my clients cancel their accounts. I had hoped that moving to Interserver would cure this sort of problem I had with my previous company that I had dedicated service with, but it seems that I am in the same boat.

During a down time like this, apparently the server stores the bind failures, then once back online(even if it's only for a few minutes), they're sent to me thru email. Dozens of them. Those I can kind of understand. It's the ones I get on a daily basis that interest me. How do I prevent daily or just any regular bind failures? What's causing them and how can I fix it from happening again?

look at the resolve conf see where it`s looking at. if you running your own dns you can look local.

Thanks William.
I think I found the problem. I have some domains forwarded to the server and haven't set up accounts for them yet.
Thank you for the reply.
