Hi all,
I'm looking for a domain registrar which allows me to add my own subdomain to forward to somewhere else.
Eg. xyz.mydomain.org --> somewhere.com/somedir/
Any ideas?
Thanks~

Register a domain at any registrar, open an account at mydomain.com and use the free service there.
You get unlimited subdomain there.
Good luck.

Thanks! I read previous post about mydomain.com it seems that they did consider charging for extra service? Anyway, no signs of that in their website so I guess I'll get my domain when I get home :D

What I do is make a subdomain and in that folder make a .htaccess with the following:
Redirect / http://www.whereever.com/sub

Will this redirect you wrote work in all unix situations. How does the server pick up the call when this is in a subdirectory. As an example using windows you would hit the opening index page and that tells it to go to the subdirectory how does this .htaccess see the original call. As you can tell I don't know anything about UNIX
.htaccess with the following:
Redirect / http://www.whereever.com/sub

It is there, in their control panel. I'm currently using it. It is under "Advanced MX/CNAME/URL Framing Settings" for each domain. You can also set up email forwarding too. Unfortunately, it takes a little time to figure their system out.
