Hi Guys,
I work at a Boys & Girls Club in the tech lab. We are trying to make the lab better and are looking for some help.
We want to add a seperate server for the kids to be able to save their files. Currently we are running a network where all the computers in the building are hooked on. This server is just a regular pc with more HDD space and a faster processor, it's running WinNT, I think. My question is what kind of server or pc should we be looking for? What are the minimums and such? I went to http://www.pricewatch.com and clicked on servers but I don't think this is what we need.
Also is there such a thing as network software where all the pc's can use a program from the server? Meaning the program resides on the server and would not have to be installed on each individual PC. If so where do I find such software?
Thanks for you help. :)
