I don't think the 2048MB of ram applies to this offer still. I placed an order for this special on Saturady but put in the wrong billing address. The order didn't go through, I called on Saturday but had to contact them again today since they didn't reply. They just reversed the pre-autohrization which should take effect tomorrow. Looks like i won't be able to get the server now that the special's over.. :bawling:

I'm pretty sure if you can prove you placed the order already well before the specials end you should still be able to get it. But of course thats up to SM.

The TC server is still a great deal if you are able to afford it. :)

The person I talked to in chat today was pretty helpful. She even faxed paypal a letter to help get the pre-authorization lifted sooner (it was a paypal debit card I used). It just said to enter the address, not billing address so I put the wrong one in. :)

I'll try to chat with them tomorrow when the charge gets reversed and see if they will help me out. But the special listed above is incorrect, the 2048MB of ram doesn't apply to the brand-new special (i just checked on the website).

No that special doesn't apply any longer Jeff will probably fix that when he gets back.

They are pretty helpful and understanding thats why I say they will probably honor your order with that special but again thats up to SM.....I can't speak for them....I'm just a client.

Correction on the Total Control Special it is not for the RAM. It is just for the free control panel.

Sales can help. It could be he does not have the access rights to add the service. He could be logging in as a user that was not set by the customer correctly.

I would very much like to go with it, but not only is it not working for me, but the prices on it don't even match the pages it links to anymore.

Again, I should stress that if a company posts a deal here, they should keep that dealupdated, or remove the information, or at least provide a link to a page on their site that lists the current deals. This could easily be deemed false or misleading advertising.
