How many takers would there be if someone could offer dedicated RaQ 4i machines w/ 300GB of transfer per month for only a $100-$150 setup fee, and $100-$160/month rates for 256mb-512mb, 20gb-50gb systems?

sounds like a good deal, though you'd obviously be up against the wall a bit going against Rackshack with an untested system. $100 less for setup is attractive, but at least for myself, I rather pay a bit extra for something I know has a good bloodline.

about the only complaints i've heard about rackshack(other than their early DNS problems), has been their high setup fee and monthly RAM upgrades.
