Been searching for dedicated in Curacao but coming up empty. Anyone knows the URL of a company offering dedicated servers there?

Hello, I have family that live in Curacao and I can tell you it has very limited internet connectivitiy.

I do not think they have a company selling dedicated servers.

Yes, I was there for a month or so working with the phonecompany there. The guy told me he somewhat ran the Internet company there and used pretty low bandwidth microwave (i believe) to get access there for the islanders. So i doubt you'll find a dedicated server there.

I know one night the whole island lost power for several hours :) so power is at times issues as well.

im from aruba, living in netherland nor aruba nor curacao have dedicated servers im 100% of this as it one of my project to start one in the caribbean which is in its last stages :D

power supply is an issue
internet connectivity is very poor until now.

I was in Aruba for my honeymoon last year, very close to Curacao, and the speeds there were faster/better than DSL in Pennsylvania!

Don't know what was running...but someone had capacity there.
Curacao may have same carrier, being so close...just start doing some research on Aruba as well...

there backbone from what i heard are very great

and on aruba im 100% there are no datacenter where u can rent servers,

only one ISP serving internet http://www.setarnet.aw (SetarNET)
there ADSL is not bad but very pricey from what ive seen and tested

They also started to offer WiFi internet connection
All this changes in not less then 1 year, it was dailup for very long time.

Me along with other partners are going to start a datacenter in aruba, will start off small and progress as things come along, but this project is still in development.

Curacao is connected to ARCOS, which ultimately connects to NAP of the Americas in Miami for U.S. routes. Granted, there may not be any dedicated server providers, the bandwidth does exist.

In live on Curacao and we have a state-of-the art datacenter.
Actually it's the only datacenter in the Netherlands Antilles.

It's owned by the company called E-Commerce Park.
