Hello,

I would be gratefull if you could please review my new site at:

http://www.postcard4me.com/

I'm interested in your thoughts about speed, UI, links, focus, look/feel, and anything else you may see :)

Thanks in advance for your help.

Speed: hard to tell as I am on a DSL line so anything flys.

Links: Can't miss 'em, no problems there.

Look/Feel: A bit bland but easily useable.

I think it is a great service (might want to post something in the Advertising/Offers Forum wiith a heading like: "Free Remote Postcards for your site" - I'm sure this is a service that people might like since not everyone has access to a cgi-bin). As for look/feel, brown never says excitement to me. Never cared much for it. But it is a mellow design, not overly fantastic, but it works fine.

Great thought on using your Forum to announce the service.

I'm having the logo tweaked/designed as it IS a bit boring. A preliminary/work in progress version is at:

I think your logos (new/old) are too small! The relatively larger & weirdly placed banners left me with no idea what your site is focusing on.

All the pages are kinda boring... as Chicken pointed out, the colors are not too exciting. The only eye-catching thing are the banners, its really more tempting to click on one of those then to read the paragraphs of words.

Nevertheless, speed was pretty good. And I must say its an excellent service you're offering! :)

Thanks everyone for the input.

I may "liven it up" a bit. My initial intention was to tone it down, as I think Webmasters just want to get to the meat and potatoes of the site.

BTW, that box is a P233 :) A dandy summer special from dialtoneinternet.com. <I'm not a reseller. Just a happy camper> Natch it's got 196 MB of ram and a clunky old 4 gig EIDE but since thats all it's really going to run it should be fine.
