Using IIS 5 w/ SP2 and W2K
Virtual Directory displays error when using a shared network resource. I am logged into the domain in which both the IIS server and a 98 w/s reside - logged in as administrator for the domain - When creating the VD it requests that I use a user name and password that will be used to access this shared resource - so I use the administrator account and still get the error. I try to use the local IIS IUSER account and still got the red stop sign error. I can access the link, however I am forced to place a user name and passoword - along with the error that is displayed in IIS.
Thanks Don
