View Full Version : Anyone using NIghthawk Hosting?
DrDoug 11-14-2001, 11:36 AM I am considering a move from OLM due to poor technical support, as well as other issues. Nighthawk Hosting http://www.nhhosting.com looks to be good. I was wondering, however, if anyone has any past or current experience with them. I would greatly appreciate any information about their services.
Thanks!
Doug

michaeln 11-14-2001, 01:57 PM Well they are.
What else can I say.
They have good support, umm...
They are nice.
Courteous.
And for Bill's sake might I say, VERY HELPFUL....
And above all they things 100% honest...
Oh, and no I don't work for them I host with them.
EDIT: Had to fix a spelling error….
Quill 11-15-2001, 12:20 AM I find their plans are a bit expensive. 300 mb for $30.95?
I can get that for only $9.95 at HR (http://www.hostrocket.com)

You forgot to mention the 10GB of transfer with that $30.95. And by charging a reasonable amount like that, I suspect them to only get stronger as time goes by. I like their plans and their prices. If the support is good, they should go very far. :)
I think too many people are getting used to the $1/GB prices hosts are offering these days. Sure, it works fine for some, but they're playing a game many others don't want to play with good reason...
zac2003 11-15-2001, 02:25 AM i am very happy with night hawk
i been with them for about 1 week and so very helpful that i can't say enough about them.
friendliest people i ever talked to in the sales on the internet , i have gotten no run arounds and i can get great speeds over 300k on the t1 at school but that is shared across over 100 or so computers or it would be faster :)

Well, how about 15gb of transfer and 350mb for only $9.95/month? are they playing game either? :eek4:
-Edward- 11-15-2001, 04:03 AM Hi,
I've had a few dealings with the owner and his wife (think it's his wife) on yahoo when helpng them setup a server. They seemed a very genuine couple who cared a lot about customers. They worked for days setting up there RAQ and making sure everything worked smoothly before they put customer site on it.
I would recommend them to people.
(SH)Saeed 11-15-2001, 05:22 AM I've known them for a while now and they are very nice people that care about their customers and although I have not had any personal experience hosting with them, I know they put a lot of time providing good service and support for their customers.
zac2003 11-15-2001, 09:51 AM oh yea one more thing i should have added to that post above is that,
if you are somone who needs tech support etc... they are always online , via icq is how i talk to them, they must be on like 16 hours a day it seems lol
thats my 2cents ,

Why bother with Host Rocket? I'll show you places you can get UNLIMITED *everything* for $1/mo.
Point being, you aren't buying a gallon of milk and comparison shopping. Doesn't really work that way with hosting.
Nothing bad meant against HostRocket, in case you can't already figure that out :D

300 mb/10 gigs = $30.95
350 mb/15 gigs = $9.95
Point being, we still call that shopping, because basically we're spending our money for that. So if you can get the same thing for a cheaper price, why not?
Simply because there're too many complaints here in WHT about HostRocket, right? So nothing bad meant against HostRocket, eh?! ;)
C'mon Mr.Mod, I know what's playing in your mind there. :D
