Right now for a limited time:

Pay for only the bandwidth you use.

$1 for 1 gig of bandwidth and 25 megs of storage

Multiply as many gigs/space as you need.

$2 = 2 gigs of bandwidth and 50 megs of storage
$3 = 3 gigs of bandwidth and 100 megs of storage
etc...

Minimum $20/month = 20 gigs of bandwidth and 500 megs of storage.

Unlimited emails with any increment (email counts against storage space).

Anything past 20 gigs of use you just pay as you need more. If one month you use 30 gigs of BW, you'll pay $30. If the next month you use 20 gigs, then you just pay $20 that month.

We have a system in place that will block your site if you exceed your allocated bandwidth but will be instantly removed once you pay for any additional BW needed. If you wish to pay for anticpated usage but not meet that level one month, then you get credit for next month.

Example if you pay for 40 gigs at $40 but only use 30 gigs in a month, then you'll get $10 credit towards your next month invoice.

No setup fees.

These accounts are on unused servers we have at rackshack and of course are on Raq4i's with 512 megs of RAM (not the basic server they offer with 256 megs RAM... some on here are offering good deals on their RS server but are using the 256 meg RAM configuration which has a noticable effect on performance).

Legal adult content is allowed.

Payment via Paypal or direct Visa, MC, or Discover.

No private DNS.
(if you are reselling with anyone you can always use mydomain.com for free dns management and point your domain to a server that doesn't have private DNS.)

if you have any questions.

NO ADULT orientated material may be stored on your dedicated rack or virtual site

I can't comment on their posted policy but I can assure you that legal adult content content can be run on my Raq4 from them and and the CEO of rackshack is fully aware of this. A legal adult site on my server will not get shut down by Rackshack.

Perhaps we can hear from Headsurfer on this ?

If he says yes to adult hosting, I am sure their servers will be sold like hot cakes.

His name is Robert Marsh and if you just read the posts in the forum at Rackshack you would know.

All right, RackShack clarified it for me in this post:

forum.rackshack.net/showthread.php?s=&postid=7374#post7374

Summary: RackShack sold 12 "special" servers with dedicated 10Mbit connection on which adult content is allowed. No more of such servers are available from RackShack now.

Do you allow multiple domains and reselling?(actually, just a few domains I need to host myself) If so, how about the issue of IP?

I assume this is the cobalt control panel with all the cobalt raq4 features(asp, php...java?)

Also, how to order?

Thanks,

Peter

Yes you can resell and have multiple domains but I'm offering only named based hosting as RS charges for additional IP #'s and to keep it simple I'll just offer name based hosting. If you really want some IP's or to have your own private DNS setup then it's $29 setup fee and $4/month for 4 IP #'s (their cost not mine). I also recommend using mydomain.com which is free and just point the domains to the server in order to offer private DNS options.

Yes, standard features of a raq4. Since this is a special for WHT only at this time there is no mention of it on my site, just email me directly at hostmaster@myvirtualnet.net and let me know how much bandwidth you want to start with (minimum 20 gigs) and what domains you have.

Thanks.
