I bet this will be taken as advertising, but there has been such demand for stuff like this this so I give it a shot and write about it here :)

I have now created a Cobalt Control Panel Extension, called SHAdm:

Basically it is

- extended site admin functionality, such as MySQL database creation, subdomain management,
link to webbased mail, stats. A webbased secure file manager is included as well.

- autosetup feature. Comes with support for 2checkout.com ( just enter your account id and
product id for each plan ) and you are ready to go ( not to hard to modify to support other CC processors ).
Accounts are setup instantly. Emails the user account info/password after setup.

- server admin. IP/Plan/User management. Supports shared/dedicated IP:s

All this works in conjunction with the regular control panel.

This is a commercial product, however since the setup is somewhat hard to do and the product is new
I would like to give it away for free to the first 10 or so users - in exchange for you telling me about flaws in setup routines etc.

It has been extensively tested on my live RAQ 4. No tests has been done on RAQ3 therefore I have no idea
if it will work on those machines.
