Do sub domains generate thier own logs?

Does it cause any problems? Are there any other benefits besides the name?

And how do I set it up on a Raq4?

Yes subdomains generate their own logs and to create a subdomain you do the same and creating a www domain just replace the www. by sub.
It shouldn't cause any problems as long as you whole script is in the subdomain,
