Ok - I know one day doesn't constitute how well or bad a host is, but I just wanted to add my two cents. Thanks to Rossman who told me about UU.net. I was a little hesitent dealing with someone overseas, but I figure a lot of the successful companies are overseas. Anyways, I've spoken with Wong (UU.net's owner) several times via IM and questioned him regarding his company. Very friendly and helpful. Never once did he ignore me or said he was busy to answer my questions.

So, after months of waiting and actually continuing to look around, I finally took the plunge. I couldnt stand my current host any longer, and I wanted someone who had servers outside of The Planet. As of this afternoon, I finally signed up with UU.net and immediately ran into a couple of MINOR problems.

HOWEVER, through various support tickets and chatting via IM, Wong resolved ALL of my issues. Not once was he fedup or ignorant of my questions/problems. He took the time to listen and walk me through every step to ensure that I was happy and things were running as they should.

Anyways, yes, it's only been 7+ hours, but this goes to show you the kind of business this guy is running! I think others can vouch for this.

I completely agree with your positive review of UltraUnix.NET, I posted my comments here (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=258742)

Please do post a follow up review in a few months after you've used their services and support a little more than 7 hours ;)

It takes a lot of guts and self confidence to say that. :)

lilcam, I'm also looking forward to read about your experience with UltraUnix in the next several months.

Cheers!

I'm not sure what good a review ofseven hours is. But, I can't see it helping anyone. We'll just close this thread and await your comments after you've had some experience.
