I have access to about 30 or so PC's that my school is getting rid of. They are working systems pulled from 2 computer labs that were recently upgraded to new dell optiplex systems.

Specs: (This is what they should be, some specs may vary as parts were swapped out over the years. But these are the minimum specs)

P3 500mhz
~384 ram
~20gb HD
10/100 NIC
15" montior
Keyboard/mouse
Windows 98

They are $70 + Shipping, or if you live in Minnesota, you can pick up in Duluth, or I can drop them off in the Twin cities area on a weekend.

Email me at 4sale@amishgeek.com or PM me if you are interested.

I havent looked into shipping costs yet.. I just found out about these about an hour or so ago. Its a regular desktop case and a 15" monitor. My guess shipping will be between $40-50, I've never shipped a computer before, only ordered them. (And I would have to find boxes to ship them in too...)

I might just change this offer to be pickup or drop off only unless buyer arranges shipping.

I'm also willing to co-locate these at USI where I co-lo my servers for people if they want as well.

Zip code shipping from is 55812

The Co-Location... I sent an email to the datacenter to see what it would cost for a cage (I rent a 1/4 rack right now, and these are desktops, wont go in a rack)

As for bandwidth, Bandwidth is ~$100/128kbps (cheaper if you buy more) Fully burstable to 100mbps. So basically its $100/40gb transfer/mo. USI's connections are 3 OC12's on Sprint and UUNet.

Well, they're sold all together. I'll check and see if just the box can be bought.

You should be able to figure out shipping costs to the UK with FedEx/UPS on their site.

Shipping will be from Duluth MN, 55812

There aren't many left, they put a poster in the hallway on campus and sold 14 within an hour.

jheslop1, don't bother getting them to the UK. The shipping is ridiculous. Also, the PCs will have US power supplies and other issues that will make them pretty unusable for you.

There are a lot of UK companies like Morgan who specialise in equipment like this. Buy from them and get a warranty/comeback.
