Good idea! We can pay our way in diapers and baby formula :D

Have to admit, that hotel sounds like about half the buildings along the strip on the Gold Coast, QLD Australia... I don't think Chicken would be willing to throw in airfares on top of hotel suites though :D

I tell ya' what... I'll sponsor WHTconference2002 but you'll have to pay to fly here, you can stay in a tent in the backyard, though I'll provide the grilled weenies and get a keg. I'll put up a sign that says RITZ Chicken Ranch if it'll make it seem more fancy like.

The hotel is nice from what I've seen of it (just by walking by) and on the news. If I could afford to go there... I would... but right me=broke.

But when you think about it, Sarasota, is one of the wealthiest cities in on the west coast of Florida.

Here you can go downtown and not have to worry about hood rats and the like -- Downtown with where the people with money live. They live in skyrise condos that go for about $500,000+ to own (just the apartment like condo).

Me -- I live about 2 miles from the heart of downtown Sarasota. Where rent is $585 for a 2bed/2bath 1000sq. foot apartment (one of the nicest apt complex in town for the price).

A night at the Ritz is the cost of half of my rent for the month....

I was at a wedding at a Ritz Carlolton in Dearborn, Michigan a couple years ago. It was nice.. Extravigant... But nice...Then again the father of the bride was the 5th highest in charge for Ford. Every family there got a candy dish from Tiffany and Co. -- each one cost about $50 each.... And there was a good 500+ people there.

It would be nice to have money.... and maybe spend 1 night at the Ritz downtown... ;)

Heh, I'd love to just have an apartment! :) The backgrounds on their pages scream "you can't afford this" to me. Of course I'm almost to the point when the quarter machine at the grocery store yells the same thing at me.

Whoa!
I pay $1100 for the same thing in Pinellas Co.... I need to move further south.

Well come on and move further down... :)

The area is great (middle of the city), 10 min drive to the beach, 3 miles from I-75.

If you PM me, I'll tell ya what apt complex we live in, and a phone number if you're interested in a cheaper place... I know where are several apartments available here -- the one next door to me is free, I know -- and a couple on the other side of us.

Nice apartments... nice area... low crime... and a great price... :)

You guys should wait for them to build the one in the Cayman Islands. That way you can go there for the WHTconference 2002 and launder your money in the same business trip. :stickout

Dang, that's cheap... my mom and I are paying close to $700/mo for an apartment of the same size, in a small town.
