Anybody interested in the .name domain at all? I have never seen a running website with .name and never seen an email in that.

By the way, how do you setup your own email address if you own the domain name with your name FirstnameLastname.com? I haven't figured out a good way.

there is 2 type of .name domains
www.firstname.lastname.name
firstname@lastname.name

and

www.yourname.name
manyemailaddresses@yourname.name

which is 3rd level domain and second level domain which they released last jan.


never saw or got an email from .name domain since they got lunched, not even SPAM :D


the first email forwarding service is something done from .name registry and costs more than usual domain pricing.
