hi, im new to this forum but not new to the web community, tell me, why is it that we need 5+ posts to post links to other websites? and what is the number? specifically 5 or what?

well i was looking to post an offer to the hosting companies for hosting in exchange for webdev, but apparently i cant show sites i have made (link). do you know any way to get around this? i really dont feel like spamming here just to get 5, id probably get banned for it anyways

Well there's really no place to do that anyways, the requests forum was dismantled long ago. The only way to request hosting would be via the HostQuote button, and I don't know if you can propose a barter.
