is there a trick to changing from '/users/username' to '/web' in dreamweaver? i have a web designer who uses dreamweaver and is having trouble accessing the root web directory for one of my virtual web sites.

You can just put /web in the Host Directory field in the Remote Info section in Defines Sites.

basically it will treat whatever you set in the setup part for Sites as the root
pretty basic DW stuff you may want to check out
