They do cost more in comparing to .com .net and .orgs and most registrars have a minimum period of 2 years in advance.

Most likely the same amount. I can't exactly speak for 000domains, but they cost *me* the same amount as a .com/net/org so this is why I'm thinking they are probably priced the same. 2 year minimum.

Then 000domains.com has the best price for .biz and .info I have ever seen. The 2nd best is the one from godaddy which costs $14.95 per year.

The prices for registrars to register new .info and .biz domain names are, I believe, the same as for .com, .net and .org. The only difference is that they have to be registered for 2 years initially.

Some registrars are taking advantage of the fact that .info and .biz are new though, and are charging more.

Thus far I've registered avara.info and ballyhaunis.biz, both through Joker.com. They charge just 11 Euro (10 USD) per year (remember: you'll have to register for 2 years, so you end up being charged 20 USD), and I'm very very happy with them -- not something I could say of any of the other registrars I've tried.
