I have a few domains that are currently hosted by a web host but I plan to migrate them out soon(in a month). I have got my own linux server, and I have played around with it long enough that I know how to do web page hosting(apache). However, I don't know too much about hosting pop mail. From my limited knowlegde of DNS, it seems that I can have another server handle the mail. Do you know any free(or low cost) mail host that will do this? I need pop mail hosting for a few domains(>5).

Alternatively, any good tutorial/help on how to set up pop mail?

Thanks,

Peter

POP accounts are just regular users with a few limitations.

What OS is your server running? Mailserver?

I am using Redhat 7.1. As for the mail server, I have currently installed sendmail, and I once had qmail. Either one doesn't matter, since I don't know what to do with them.(I installed one, than uninstalled it and install the other, but didn't know what to do with either one of them)

Another reason why I would like an outsourced mail server(preferrably free) is because I don't want to mess with the DNS setting(All the cname and mx are confusing me). Any tips on that?

Thanks,

Peter
