Hello, I don`t know how to write 2nd level special characters in putty. Normally you press for instance ctrl+alt+2 to get the @, but this doesn`t work. Could someone please help me with this advanced system critical problem :eek4::eek3::eek2::eek::crap:

(I need it for "password"(e-mail address) when logging on to ftp sites as anonymous)

Hi.
Take a look at "Enable extra key features" under Terminal/Keyboard or play with the settings under Window/Translation.

Thanks for the help Kosh! The AltGr took care of it when I enabled "extra key features".
