I have now inserted quality information including words which really describe what my site is about in the main pages, and also included these important words in my title - which is pretty long now!

Can anyone provide me with anything else I need to do to help?

Thanks!

Please provide more information for your web site. I suggest you to define your service area in the meta tag description.... also you do not need to put a single word more than 6 times in your keywords.

I don't have any keywords, ie. meta tags. Havn't done those yet? I've only added a title and done quality content. Its for a find your family tree site.

Help! :(

Yours are very broad questions, and there are any number of approaches someone might choose to take. Do a search here for for "search engine optimization" or "seo," though, and you'll find a lot of discussion and ideas that will probably equip you to ask more specific questions as you move along.

Scenes,

I cannot give you advise much at the moment. It would be helpful if you can post your URL or place your URL in your profile. I would take a look and give you suggestion what to do with SEO. At the mean time, work on your <title>, <meta> desc. and keywords, and your content should include keywords or keyphrases as well...

PM me if you don't want to publish your URL here...

I tend to refer my users to http://www.searchengineworld.com/misc/guide.htm when they ask how to get/improve their ranking.
