Are they all worth *some thing?

Does it depend on tld?

Does it depend on the word?

Od does it just depend on whether it's a good domain name?

All of the above :D

It basically depends on the word (how long it is, how easy to remember. The tld is also important. Wouldn't you rather have example.com instead of example.ws etc.

Yeah, not even all one-word .coms are worth much. The domain game is risky, even to those who know a lot about domains in general. :)

Generally speaking, one word domains are worth more than two words domains (in general). For example, I have a domain called, "www.presentiment.com", which is a dictionary word, but this definitely worth less that something like "hahaha.com".

It just depends. :)

No. It depends on the word.
Things to avoid in most cases:
-strange suffixes/prefixes ie pherimonious(not a word i dont think), exampling, etc (many aren't even words that seem like they might be).
-Words you've never heard of, nobody will type it in probably unless you're aiming for a very niche market.
-Hard to spell words -- anything you look to spell check to type correctly is a BAD idea, how are users ever going to find it?

What is good in a dictionary domain/one word:
-Nouns tend to be better as you can sell items from there, there are services that are good too (ie. help.com). Cars.com instead of Smart.com (both are great but cars is better) because people pay money to buy cars while I dont know how much money people pay for 'smart.' (lots of people could use some more of this though :D )
-Demand in the market of the domain, dont buy typewriting.com when typewriters are out of date. Get something there is a real demand for (i dont know what the demand for typewriters is, it is an example of a 'less' demanded technology these days).

hope these little tips help :)

even oneword brand would cost something these days, like taaz.com baaz kash tash bash
or even google :D

if the word has a ring it would get something

Or nothing. Bashar I think you're getting too many hopes up :P not every domain is worth something. Yes, maybe to someone, but then is your time worth the time spent finding that someone?

Well, thanks. Now I'm just as confused (I am a full time resident of the great State of Confusion), as I was when I first started this thread.

But, I guess I kinda expected that. :buck:

Are they all worth *some thing? No.

Does it depend on tld? Yes.

Does it depend on the word? Yes.

Od(or) does it just depend on whether it's a good domain name? This belongs in he great state of confusion. Good word=good domain.
