I want to move my domains to a new registrar (currently have them at network solutions). I will not become a reseller, i just want to trasfer 6 domains.
Based on what I've read in this forum, godaddy and namecheap are the way to go....
any pros/cons with each of these?
thanks,
guillermoc

godaddy is cheaper and I've never had a problem!

I use namecheap for all my domains. I know they're a reseller, but I don't care. The service and ease of use is great.

I have one domain with Namecheap and one with godaddy. I think I like namecheaps control panel better and they have good support...enver tried godaddy support though.

I have names at both. After moving to my own eNom account I now can't stand GDs control panel nore their pushy add-on products. BTW, they are not cheaper. A one time promo of $6.95 does NOT make them cheaper in the long run. For the record -- either one will be fine for your needs. If all you are going to do is register/transfer 6 domains and just renew them each year then most any registrar/reseller can serve your needs.

Hmm ... why am I not getting the same conclusion as a regular reader and poster of this forum? :D

not sure nameslave :)
i recommend namecheap over godaddy personally.
I know the choice is between namecheap and godaddy, but I want to draw your attention to registerfly just in case you might need those extra services they provide for very little extra money.
I use all three of them and I prefer registerfly. I can say their sevice is ok too, as I tried their live help 3 times and only once they replied in around 8 minutes the others within 2 or 3.
Godaddy did not reply my only e-mail.
But nevermind, they are all fine, I would put registerfly at the top, followed by namecheap, then godaddy.
I am not too satisfied with a few other registrants I used before and I'm unhappy I have to use other ones for other extensions.
I hope this helps.

FYI: RegisterFly is actually the BIGGEST eNom reseller with some 700,000 registrations, comparing to 160,000 of NameCheap.
Of course, GoDaddy has more than 3.5 MILLIONS! :D But wait! I'm NOT recommending GoDaddy at all, not even the other two. Moi? I go with OpenSRS, which simply has the most reliable backend.
