Hi, all. I was fortunate enough to recieve some quality free hosting on a growing music site, and I've decided to buy a domain name simply because prices are so ridiculously low.

I had a question about url masking, though: does the site appear to stay at the address "domain.com" regardless of what page the user visits? Or does it change dynamically, like "domain.com/listen.html"?

Also, I'm thinking about getting e-mail addresses, but this would be more of "just a neat thing to have" than a necessity.

The companies that look the most promising are stargateinc.com, godaddy.com, and lowcostdomains.com (which I haven't seen mentioned on this site).

So, for registration/forwarding/masking/5 e-mail accounts, prices seem to be as follows:
stargateinc.com: $18.85
godaddy.com: $33.85 (masking?)
lowcostdomains.com: $24.00 ("unlimited free e-mail" :eek3: but web only)

Any thoughts on these three companies, or anything else would be greatly appreciated.

Jeff

You can get them all at Registerfly for $9.99.

Oh, and yes, the basic url will remain as the address through all of your pages.

Maybe you should register it at godaddy for about $9yr., then get redirection/masking with forwarding, and plenty of email accounts from redirection.net for about $5/yr. Totalling $14/yr.
