Hi Tony
Quite simple really, find a reliable host with a good reseller program, and signup for it .. experience will show you how to be a webhost better than anything we can say.

Hi Tony,
I think you better start on making your site and doing some research on those hosting plans & prices including those hosts that offer you reseller plan... you don't want to change your plans & pricing half way.
That's if you prefer to start as a reseller first.
Just my thoughts ;)

Browse all the forums in WHT for atleast 30 days.
:D
You may also want to talk to a few people around here, and see if you could do a sort of intership at a smaller web hosting company. This way you could learn hands on about web hosting, servers, and all the other stuff that goes along with web hosting.

I would be worth your time to pick up a book on Linux as well. Nothing like reading the manual :)

Hi!
Here's a very simple advice for the hosting industry.
Be honest, quick and warm..... The best way to be like that is think that this is your only customer.
Take care of your customers the rest just happens. This is a very very customer oriented industry.... :)
I wish you the very best in your new venture.
Have a great day :)
