Hello all,

I am looking for a Dedicated NT/2000 Server. If any of you know of a reliable and affordable solution, please let me know. I have about 20 domains. Most of them are low traffic. My budget is about $400 / month.

Here are some of the requirements (other than the standard NT features):

1. Monthly traffic about 20GB
2. Shared SQL Server space
3. Mail Server (with virtual domains support)-- This could be a software on the same server, such as IMail program.
4. Remote Management Tool
5. Tape back-up (at least partial)
6. 24hr support

Regards,

Chunno

Hmmm... You're gonna strike some slight trouble with the Mail Server. Are you looking at a stand-alone mail server, or are you willing to incorporate it into the single dedicated server?

Dear BC,

Thank you for your comments.

I've modified my original post. The mail server could be a mailserver software running on the dedicated server or a separate server that the Web Hosting company provides.

Ahhh. That makes it considerably easier then.

If you have enough knowledge, what you could do is get a dedicated server from somewhere like RackSpace (http://www.rackspace.com) or WebExpose (http://www.webexpose.net) and then install the programs yourself. Or you can get one of the techs to install the programs for you. I should also add Catalog (http://www.catalog.com) to the list, as they have some very good prices and solid tech support.

The above hosts are highly recommended. Check them out.
