Slightly off topic, but you should consider applying for a Visa or Mastercard, there is a lot of extra trouble involved for a merchant to accept AMEX or Diner, and they offer little extra value to the consumer apart from the perceived "exclusivity".

The web host, or your dedicated server providor is not the company that will also supply you with the merchant account. Contact a service like Suntrust Merchant Services. They can set you up with a merchant account that ties into Authorize.net that will allow you to except most cards, including Diner's.
