Previous hosting related experiencing is a plus for those interested. Workable knowledge (level 2 out of 4) in Linux Red hat, Apache, mySQL, cgi/perl and JSP needed. Will work with higher and lower level techs. Position at our main office in West Texas, though remote may be a good possibility through our online support center.

Regular consistent bimonthly pay. Health benefits for those that progress to full time. Late shift remote admins also considered. Email jobs@cwihosting.com or respond to this thread for anything you want us to share with all.

Main job duty is completing support cases made by clients online, and general server administration and maintenance on your shift. Great job for that extra income to full time career!

A level 1 (beginner) is new to technical support. Has some basic training, learn as you go and on the job training programs, little or no previous experience

Level 2 is a( Junior Tech)/system admin, some previous experience, workable knowledge in main aspects of hosting, servers and customer service.

Level 3 (Professional) Has previous experience, knowledge on most-all aspects of hosting, has formal, previous on the job training or certification.

Level 4 (expert) The insanely skilled and gifted tech that gets you out of any hot spot that a host can get into on the technical side and something every hosting company should have or wants a few off :) Usually oversees specific teams or entire support departments in most organizations.

eliah, Maybe they were or are a customer of ours? However, no one but CWI Global Internet Technologies, Inc. owns CWIhosting.com and we didn't take over their business, that’s for sure.

UPDATE
We are still collecting resumes, and have had phenomenal inquiry and amount of resumes sent. If you want a chance, send a resume to jobs@cwihosting.com So far, most of them where for remote work.

We will start narrowing down and selecting candidates next week. At this time will offer hours and pay information to our top picks. If the first few agree, we can start necessary paper work, if not, we may flex a bit or move down the list if agreement can not be reached.
