I need some more choices to look into before I can decide on a good registrar.

I've checked out GoDaddy.com already, sounds and looks pretty cool...are there anymore just as good?

Oh, and prices.....I prefer to pay yearly than monthly...

Thanks for the help! :cartman:

8 bucks per year for 2 or more domains. :)

yearly is the only option available for all registrars.

Personally I prefer stargateinc.com. Their control panel is great and very good support too. Live chat during working hours and ticketing respond time less than 12 hours..

I have several domains with stargateinc, I'm happy with the service as far as the domains go, but I think their support is probably the worst I've ever seen in my life (I'll even go so far as to say ***** can do better...At least they know how to click the 'reply' button for emails).

(This was when they only had an email address for support, I haven't bothered trying their support since, but it may have gotten better)

Funny, you would post this, when you haven't even bothered to try their new support ticketing system which has been in place for at least 2 months. Don't we all have room to improve?

I also have to agree with Dotster. Only cost me $11.95 to transfer a domain name and pay for a year's registration. I think it's normally $15 a year.

I'm with dotster as well, but may be switching to opensrs soon, unless they'll give me that $10 deal for domain renewals. Guess it's my turn to test out their support speed as of late.

Well, I actually have used their new support system. I recently transferred from Dotster because Dotster would take 2-3 days if not longer to respond to issues. When I first signed up with Stargate, they were great in that they would be available via chat all the time. Plus I was able to contact them via phone and speak with a human being which wasn't possible with Dotster. Since switching, I noticed they removed their phone number from their support system and you can only contact them by chat or e-mail. Almost every time I've looked since over a month ago, chat is never working. I still do like Stargate because everything is so simple to setup and make changes to but the support does need some minor tweaking.

I just fought with them for over a week, because I mysteriously had ten (10) extra domains show up in my control panel one day.
Pretty scarey to think that 'my' domains could end up in someone 'elses' control panel some day.

That's scary alright.

well.. 000domains.com is pretty good ...$13.50 per year. Easy to use ...no heavy duty forms to fill out and reply to like 5 times before you can change your address *cough "netsol"

Hmmm, must of just been my luck for a few days there. I just tried the same thing and it did work. It has been a little while since I've had to contact them so this may have just been an issue for a few days or so.

I noticed "World War II Vehicles and Advanced Squad Leader".

Have you played World War II Online (www.wwiionline.com) yet? I'm addicted.
