I am putting together a project at Affordable Colo (affordablecolo.com), located in Colo4-Dallas NOC (www.colo4dallas.com), and will have some servers/bandwidth left:
866 MHz Pentium III processor (socket 370)
256 KB L2 cache
Intel 810E chipset motherboard with integrated 10/100 LAN
256 MB 133 MHz SDRAM
40 GB 7200 RPM HDD
Remote reboot port
PSoft H-Sphere reseller control panel ($4.5 per user setup fee)
100 GB montly traffic
Additional traffic at Affordable Colo's prices (currently $1.5/GB)
Those will be available in approx. 2 weeks.
I can resell them at $150/mo., no setup fee & no contract, if there is enough interest for this offer, but no more than 10 machines will be available. Please contact me via e-mail (bystruev@yahoo.com) if you are interested.
Please note that I am not affiliated with Affordable Colo or Charles Baker, but I am proud to become his customer.
According to advertisiment forum rules (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/announcement.php?forumid=4), I am placing my replies by editing the original message instead of posting:Originally posted by TechnoHosts
can psofts control panel be replaced by plesk?I have no experience with Plesk pricing model. If you decide to go with Plesk you are welcome to do so, but you have to pay for Plesk control panel directly (www.plesk.com/store/bundles_list.php)Originally posted by jolly
How much extra for Ensim or plesk? How can we resell virtual servers please let me know. The same goes with Ensim WEBpplience - you have to buy directly from Ensim (buy.ensim.com/items.asp (https://buy.ensim.com/items.asp)). You can resell virtual servers with H-Sphere control panel as well.Originally posted by Hostexp
can we pay a outright fee for adding users other then a fee per user?If you go with PSoft's H-Sphere control panel, there is no 'unlimited users' license. You pay one time fee of $4.50 for each user, or $3.50 if you buy 500 licensees, or $3.25 if you buy 1000 etc. If you go with Plesk or Ensim WEBpplience, there are unlimited plans available directly from Plesk ($799) and Ensim ($999).
Frankly, after I evaluated Plesk 2.0 and checked the features list of Ensim WEBpplience, I can't understand why people still want them over PSoft's H-Sphere? H-Sphere's feature list includes everything from reseller control panel to billing system to support ticket system. Am I missing something?Originally posted by eclipsewebs
1. Can we get the box with Windows 2000?In theory, yes, for additional fee. In practice, I do not have any techs in Colo4-Dallas NOC to install Windows 2000. I will have to agree with Affordable Colo's techs how much it would be to have them install it. I will edit this answer when I have reply from Affordable Colo.2. Does the H-Sphere reseller control panel allow you to create reseller plans on your box?Since H-Sphere control panel does not support resellers on dedicated servers as of yet (according to PSoft, such support is planned to be added in December), each reseller on dedicated server will get its own instance of H-Sphere. So the answer is yes, you will be able to create reseller plans on your box. Please note, if you want to use H-Sphere for Windows hosting, you will need at least 2 boxes, one with Linux, and one with Windows.3. If we can get Windows 2000, does the H-Sphere come with a mail package? If not can we configure H-Sphere to use our mail package?Yes, H-Sphere includes improved mail system with multiple forwards/autoresponders/aliases per mailbox.
