I play, I suck, I tought myself, I play drums too. Maybe we could get together and create a band called the webhosts? Sing songs about the industry. Good Idea?

Been playing for 2 years now. First guitar was a Squier Strat. Here's my current beast:

But mine is black and not sparkly looking :)

--James Most death metal bands don't rhyme, or make sense. So it'd be more like this

WEBHOST!
DIE RESELLERS!
MY SERVER SCREAMS PAIN OVER LOAD
<insane grunting that makes no sense>
<guitar_solo />
<insane grunting continues>

Well, that's what I think webhosting death metal would be like.

I think it needs something unrelated to hosting there.
Like muttering the words 'I sound so cool and evil huh?'

I used to listen to metal. And that crap. Then heard Radiohead :)

heehee

I am not a metal head - the music I listen to is very talented stuff - none of this Limp Bizkuit stuff.

Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Dream Theater etc :)
They are truely gifted :)

Ya, they 0wn. I wasn't too keen on Falling Into Infinity tho - some good songs, but it just wasn't them.

Learning to Live is ace.

I caught the G3 Tour this year so I got to see Satriani, Vai and Petrucci play together - was awesome!
Almost went mental on an usher tho - he decided to victimise me and tell me to stop taking photos, yet other people around me were allowed to!

I've been playing the guitar and the piano for over 10 years now.
And I also sing - I've been singing ever since I can remember... and Semi-Professionally for over 5 year. (aka getting paid - but no record deal).

Before I was married and had my son, I was in a very popular local band (up in Michigan - now I'm in Florida). We were going to audition for Lilith Fair - but there was an emergency in your drummer's family -- so we weren't able to make it. But I'm pretty sure we would've made it in for the tour though.

I also was a opening act for a singer up in Michigan - for a couple shows she did (she toured with Duncan Shiek (remember him, "Barely Breathing).

I would LOVE to get back into singing. But since I'm new here, I don't know as many people in the scene as I did up in Michigan. I love being on stage...and making people happy - its a GREAT feeling.

heehee aaah yes, U2. One of the best things to come out of Ireland.

Timeless band, great performers - why can't all bands aspire to be like them?

I play the pedal steel guitar, been doing it for a while now, and love it to death. When I am not working on my computer, chances, are, I'm playing it. Don't have a picture, sorry.
