We are wanting to combine our 2 sites eazyaccess.com and cheapservers.net into one easy to use site, and we have come up with a new layout format. I would like to get your feedback on it, it is just the frontpage so none of the links work but I can at least see if this is the design we should stick with. Also the coding is in layers but will be converted to tables, just so you know so I dont get a 100 responses telling me layers are not capatible with all browsers :)

Anyway here is the URL:

http://www.eazyaccess.com/wwionline.com

Any negative or positive feedback would be much appreciated.

Yep, we paid attention to what you guys said about what host you siad had the best design, and the overwhelming opinion was burlee. So we looked at the site and looked at how we could use some of the concepts you guys like in our site.

But at no point did we copy anything direclty that burlee used, actually the only thing similar would be the color scheme, and weve always used shades of blue on our sites.

I dun like it.. I think curves look out of place... need to align them or something..

Also the red of the logo and purple bg are to much of a contrast.. hmm.. try working on that

Looks pretty cool to me.

Can't really evaluate it since we are only dealing with the homepage

1. I like the use of javascript. Very nicely done
2. I live the overall look. Nice and clean. Not much clutter
3. I don't think there is anything wrong with the logo standing out. Plus in general red goes well with blue
4. I think the curves are out of place on purpose. I actually like the look
5. Loads pretty fast too

good job overall for the homepage

I agree with kunal. The curves look awkward. Try centering the top curve on the white and just making the bottom curve into a straight line. The slight jagged appearence of the bottom one is affecting everything below it (and not in a good way).

I have no doubt in my mind the curves are setup they way they are on purpose (famous last words ;))

I believe they are going for a "different" feel for the web site. i.e. they are different from other hosting/dedicated companies etc. etc.

Straightening out the curves would be a no brainer since they are setup in blocks of images. All the designer would have to do is redo the grahpics and slice them up again

Another thing I just noticed. On the mouse-over, when you go from Dedicated hosting to Support and FAQ's, the image length becomes smaller from the left hand side. Just increase the length of the Support and FAQ's image. :)

The design is pretty nice and easy on the eye !!!!!

The red and blue is okay too... everything cannot and should not be necessarily complimentary in your color scheme.

The bottom curve is okay too... it does maintain symettry with the top curve (white section) too... but Kunal has a made a valid point in the sense that it is "unconventional"... so may be more noticed by some people than others.

But you can still go with it if you feel the need to break the rules. Not a really important issue though. Would like to review it after you have put up a complete site.

I think the curve is made on purpose, which looks neat.

If you would use another set of navigation buttons, then it wouldn't look like burlee's layout :)

Yes... this is a very good suggestion considering the familiarity with burlee, though the current navigation buttons are fine too.

Thank you all for the suggestions, I hope to have the completed site up within the next few days for some more input. I will have the designers look at your comments and see if we can make any changes to make the overall appearance better.
