Not sure whether it's my browser or perhaps it's just me but a very large much talked about thread namely Goodbye WHT. It's been fun seems to have vanished. Please tell me it's just my imagination.
I would like to comment further on this recent development however I think that would be very unwise of me.

I'm sitting here talking to myself actually, I am wondering if I owned a forum and I insulted members of my forum or those members perceived that I insulted them, and there was a very large mostly negative thread that was very uncomplimentary towards me and my staff (not moderators STAFF) would I have that thread removed or would I be man enough to leave it there. Would I have the guts to ride it out. Lets say while I was still contemplating this some well meaning souls came along and removed it thinking they were doing everybody a favour would I have it imediately reinstated.
How would you react if it were you in this situation. I wonder.

This does not bode well for iNet and I must say I'm gravely disappointed that the thread was deleted. very disappointed indeed.
This place I used to call home is really starting to tick me off big time.

That thread is a mess. I'm not sure anything can save it. But I, not iNET, moved it to work on.
If it can be saved, it may be back. But, it is wholey a moderator decision.
You wouldn't expect us to allow a thread that trashed you; would you? That was the sole reason for the thread.
Constructive critisism is always welcome. Name calling isn't.

Odd. I swear I just saw this thread closed a second ago.
There was NO reason to close Blue27's original thread.
EDIT:
You wouldn't expect us to allow a thread that trashed you; would you? That was the sole reason for the thread.
As far as iNet, thread did get a bit of control but based on the number of posts and users I think it was important for the community to see it.
Dennis, I vehemently disagree with you on your decision to remove the thread as it was. It went for a full 12 pages. If it had any inappropriate posts, the mods had plenty of time and opportunity to remove them.

If someone trashed me with accurate statements, then I would absolutely not expect you to delete the thread. After all, that's part of what is great about an open and uncensored community. Both good and bad are aired.
This looks very bad on WHT. Lately, I must say that some incredibly poor judgement is being used in making some decisions.

Sorry, I will need to disagree that those are accurate statements.
And that's only in the fourth and seventh lines of the first post.
[Edit]
Now that I've had a chance to look it over, I'm certainly not going to spend the time cleaning it. It's just a mess. We'll leave it viewable and closed. http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=254882

Dennis I see the thread "Goodbye WHT. It's been fun" has been reinstated now If you could kindly put the title of this thread back the way I wrote it, I would be much obliged, I don't know who changed it or for what reason but I am sure you will oblige me by setting it straight.
it should read .. Goodbye WHT. It's been fun part two
