Can someone please explain this to me?
Some people say to me it's a lie, they cannot offer it, which is what i personally believe, but others disagree and come up with stuff about "its unmetered because there is no limit on the10Mbit line".

You can have unmetered, its just means you will not be billed for your bandwidth usage any more then you have paid. They do state that it is on a 10Mbps line, so they are offering a real service.
If it said unlimited anywhere then it would be false informatin ;)

Unlimited bandwidth and hdd space does not exist.
Unmetered solutions can exist. Basically it is where your paying for a capped (be it artificially or due to a technology limit) line. The issue is what level your buying at, unmetered virtual hosting or reseller accounts are bad because they are contended, i.e. your battling with everybody else on the server for resources and thats just a bad move. However if your renting a server on an unmetered 10mbit connection thats pretty fine really as long as the price is sensible. Your just buying all the bandwidth you can push through the pipe. Now what you have to watch is if your buying contended or none contended bandwidth. 10mbps should really cost over 250 bucks a month, realistically over 325. Contended is where they may sell you and 19 other people 10mbps each but they dont have 200mbps free so while they never bill you for going over any limits youll have to fight other servers and youll never get all you paid for.

Everything has pretty much been covered, except for one small point. If you push 10MBPS consistantly, you cannot push more than 3250GB of bandwidth. Obviously, that isn't unlimited. Other than that, richy summed it up. :)
