Thats part of the reason why most people dont host it themselves. Also because they dont have any support that way. Or anyone to back up data. Plus, you need UPS and special temperature control units. You can run servers, you can fileshare etc. As long as its within their AUP just like a datacenter/host needs to abide by the AUP's of their providers (abovenet etc) |
