I currently have a RaQ4i, and will soon acquire a second server. I am considering whether it's another RaQ4i, or generic Linux box.

I would like to offer my clients a more expansive control panel. Cobalt panel works great, but my clients want to be able to set up sub.domains, etc.

I can buy a LOT of PC for $1000, and would likely run a 1+gig, 500-1000megs of ram, RAID if i deem it feasible. Much more powerful than a RaQ4i, at 450mhz.

If it's my own box, it's going to Tera-Byte.com, with NO setup or monthly fees. I'm not a full-fledged Linux geek YET, so i would have to pay to install Linux, etc. But no worse than setup fees on another RaQ.

SO. Regardless of money. Anyone care to point obvious, or subtle differences for me? I am torn...

Any what IS the best control panel?
