Thought everyone should see this (below). At least where I work, we NEVER apply patches to a production machine without first testing the patch! Plus they never really did address the issue that techNOhosts customers never get ANY communication regarding service outages, planned or otherwise. At least a mass mailing to it's customers after an outage would instill some confidence that things are under control. BTW, they moved my control panel WITHOUT e-mailing me and letting me know where it is located. Now it's not where it was 4 days ago! I e-mailed them yesterday regarding this and still have not received a response. Everytime I ask for a refund they keep offering me other services!!!!

Please wait for a site operator to respond.
You are now chatting with 'Support'
Support: How Can I help
you: What is going on all of my domains now say under construction. and none of them are listed in my "new" control panel. (farrow.org)
Support: Well one of our servers experienced a glitch due to MS PATCHES and IIS was destroyed. We have reinstalled IIS and our now adding all 300 domains on that server back in
Support: Everything should go back up in 3 hours
Support: We have 5 technicians working on it
you: why can't we get any kind of information when these things happen? even after the fact.
Support: Well this issue was completely spontaneous It wasnt expected
Support: It was caused by Microsofts new line of patches for MS200 adv server
Support: they were faulty.
Support: I am sorry for the inconvenience this caused
you: that still doesn't address the fundamental issue that technohosts never sends out information to it's customers UNLESS i get on a webhostingforum and bitch about the service.
Support: I see, well I can offer you this
Support: full mirroring service
Support: When and if there is a problem with anything it mirrors over to another network
Support: take a look at technohosts.com
Support: it is up at the moment because of mirroring
Support: We are in the process of also adding in accounts to mirroring
you: that would be fine, at no additional cost. i would like to move some non personal sites to technohosts but until the reliability improves i can't.
Support: Well the mirroring is free
Support: and it will be mirrored over 3 diverse networks
you: ok, let see how that works
