If you use Ensim CP then its takes only 2 mins to install SSL Cert.
You can give all your user free ssl certificate
www.freessl.com

No, he means ensim does not work on the raq. The raq's have their own CP.

Here's what I have done for ssl

1. Created a new account on my raq (in my case nike.safe-order.ch)
2. Bought a certificate from Geotrust, $99 (http://www.geotrust.com/quickssl/)
3. Added this line in my httpd.conf (on the new account)
AliasMatch ^/secure/([^/]+)(/(.*))? /home/sites/$1/web/$3
4. Restarted apache

Now the customer can access all their page using this address, they don't need a separate access for the ssl.
https://www.newdomain.com/secure/www.theirdomain.com/

If you want to test it, here's an example:
https://nike.safe-order.ch/secure/www.sebisoft.com

is $99 the cheapest price?

I've tried freessl.com but they aren't that great. A lot of browsers out there now cannot work with freessl.

As far as i know, $99 is the cheapest you can get for a SSL cert.
