Looking to purchase the Super Celeron 1.7 from Server Matrix.

Do they offer this with ColdFusion or do I have to purchase this on my own?

I would also like to know more about the Managed Services Plans. If I purchase the most expensive (Titanium) what would I have to expect to worry about on my end or does this cover all problems that I can run into? If not would I be better off getting a company that specializes in this.

Also how important is it to get Hardware Firewall, FloodGuard Protection, and Backup Solutions.

Just to give you a little background on myself I am a designer/developer looking to host about 30 of my clients websites. I started off with a reseller plan then moved to a semi-dedicated now I currently have a managed server with priorityloco.com, but I am looking to switch to Server Matrix.

Thanks in advance.

I guess you have to buy the license yourself.

You most definitely need to purchase your own Cold Fusion license. You can do so at Macromedia or their resellers.

Servermatrix like most web hosts just offers plain servers with an operating system and probably a control panel and that's about it. You are responsible for everything else.

I would recommend getting a company that specializes in server management rather than using the one provided by SM for example. My recommendation is EasyServerManagement.com

There are many resellers of SM who will professionally do the management job sparing you enough money to go for a P4 server with 1024 RAM. If you are lucky, you may also get some promotional free 80 GB HDD.

ThePlanet are offering ColdFusion.exe - I don't what the hack is that. You will find also CF in the Plesk new bundle. License, yes - and if you are not sticking to MS Access, a MS SQL license will also be needed for serious DB driven projects.
